What is Bouldering?
Much like a climbing wall, a bouldering wall is all about getting to the top!
Bouldering is different in that the focus is less on the height and more on the challenge of the route – bouldering is often described as solving the puzzle of each route in a high intensity but safe and accessible environment.
Here at Angle Climb, we’re proud to offer Peterborough’s only indoor bouldering wall that caters to all ages and all abilities – we’ve got routes for absolute beginners all the way up to experienced mountaineers. We’re sure you’ll find a route that’s perfect for you!
Frequently Asked Questions
Climbing something always carries the risk of falling off. At Angle Climb we take every precaution to ensure everyone is able to participate safely – we’ve got top notch padded flooring to cushion the blow, experienced advice on hand, comprehensive venue rules in place and a whole lot more to keep people going up and down as they intend. Always ensure you climb within your means – as with bouldering if you don’t climb safely, you are at risk of sever injury – just like you might be on a real rock face!
Yup! We accept walk ins at all times we’re open, but it is cheaper and easier to book online!
We request that anyone 18 and below be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. We charge per person, so the adult can climb as much or as little as they like.
If you are brining someone under the age of 8, you do need to keep them within arms reach at all times and up to the age of 16, they need to be in your line of sight at all times.
Yup! We have plenty of social space available for climbers and non climbers to chill. Children however must by a ticket with the adults, but if you have an extra adult who is just watching, that’s fine!
Before participating, all climbers will be required to agree to a safety waiver and the venue rules.
Any climbers who break venue rules or do not listen to instructions from venue staff will have their session cancelled without refund and may be asked to leave the venue.

Something tight fitting and comfortable that gives you a full range of movement. You shouldn’t wear loose baggy clothes, as if you fall from the wall it could get caught on something on the way down.
Equally you should not wear jewelry – other than stud earrings. Again you may catch these
Feel free to bring along your own equipment including chalk bags and climbing shoes, if you’d like – but you do need to wear climbing shoes when you visit – we can hire these to you.
